month: March 2009

Courtney and Luke were married at the Trade Winds Resort in St Pete Beach. Starting with a beach wedding and the reception under the big tent. It was decorated beautifully, the lighting was incredible. We got to work with Alex and his wife, they are voilacinematic, videographers. Grande Occasions put it all together, it was a wonderful event!

The spot lights can create a problem sometimes for photographers, as we don’t want to spoil the “mood” with flash. So I used the spot lights to create a very nice effect with the dances. It helps to have great equipment, and a little experience with many lighting situations.

I truly enjoyed the evening with them, everything was perfect.

Congrats to Courtney and Luke!

I hope to have the slide show ready by weds. Look for “trade Winds” in the wedding section.

Jennifer and David are from the state of Mo. They came down here for their destination wedding!

It was at the Vinoy Resort in down town St Pete. Every one was enjoying their time away from winter. It was a very close and relaxed group of friends and family. Besides shooting at the Vinoy, we walked over to the Florida museum of art for some more traditional images. Check out their slide show in the Weddings section of the web site. It is the one called “Vinoy” The horse and carriage that took them away brought a beautiful end to the day.

Congrats to Jennifer and David!

Erin and Zach were married at the Palmetto club. We photographed Erin’s sister’s wedding a few years ago so it was nice to see some familiar faces. It was a wonderful family event with the ceremony outside on the courtyard. Every one had a great time dancing and the slide show of Erin and Zach growing up had everyones attention. We wish you the best Erin and Zach!

Christina and Jeff were married at the Sand Pearl Resort in Clear Water Beach. It is fairly new and going to be THE place for beach weddings. Christina’s dress was very beautiful and the guys wore tuxes. The weather held up as a front was coming in. My wife says I watch the weather channel too much. But it is good to know if you are going to get rained on. A pretty fun group, Jeff belongs to a hockey league, I was a little surprised they didn’t break out the sticks and play some beach hockey. I think they would have been game for it.

Here are some images from their celebration.

Congrats Christina and Jeff!
