month: April 2009

Julie and Chris are getting married in Oct. So we wanted to shoot their engagement photos before it gets too hot. We went to bayshore area and then down town. A great couple, they were game for pretty much anything. My goal is to try to get each couple to relax a little. Since most people have not been in a photo shoot. But they had a good time! Here are a few from the shoot.

Looking forward to their wedding .

Sarah finally made it into our studio for her senior portraits. It’s not the same as going to the “official” yearbook store. We take as long as they want, to make the process a fun adventure. Once we get the “boring” expected photos shot, then we put on her favorite music and start the fashion / beauty lighting. Add the fan and even a little hollywood lighting from the 40′s. I think every teen should get to try this at least once. Both Sarah and her sister Abigale had a blast. Here are a few.

Cheri and Mike had their celebration day at the Van Dyke Methodist church and the reception at Emerald Greens country club. DeNeal and I enjoyed spending the day with them and their families. A close knit group. And a lot of Gator fans that went wild when the Gators fight song came on! A good deal of emotion as it was a special day for everyone there.

Congrats Cheri and Mike

I had a chance to shoot with some friends for a few models from “Model Mayhem”

We went around Ybor and had a lot of fun. The models, Rob, Lisa, Beatriz and Garrett were easy to work with and seemed to enjoy themselves. After a while though, it gets kind of tiring and hot. It gives us photographers a chance to try a few things out and hang out together.

Here are a few, more on the gallery / events page under model shoot.

DeNeal photographed Kristen and Bryan’s celebration at the Trade Winds Resort. Bryan is in the service so they planned the ceremony for when he would be state side. They are from Georgia and a lot of fun. I shot their engagement session and Kristen’s bridal portrait in out studio. A very casual affair and their friends and relatives enjoyed coming down to St Pete for a few days. Here are a few from their day.

Congratulations Kristen and Bryan (Bo) and thank you for your service to our country!
