month: August 2009

We are photographing Sherry and Chris’ ceremony in September. They are all ready married, but will have the big celebration next month. I wanted to do a photo session with them in Ybor and set up a slide show on the “engagements” part of the website. My good friend Tony wanted to shoot with me, so we took turns holding the lights, etc. We get together every couple of months at each others weddings, or engagements and model shoots.

Sherry and Chris had a blast and I think the photos came out pretty nice too.

Take a look on the website. Congrats Sherry and Chris!

We love photographing senior portraits! There’s no hurry in the studio, just take time to have lots of fun.

Kaitlyn will be graduating this coming year and wanted something a little different or special for her photos.

Here are a few that I liked. Be sure to contact us for our Fall senior specials!

Congrats to Kaitlyn.

We have photographed Dan and Jens daughters before. Now their new addition (Kyle) came to the studio.

I have long been aware of Dan’s obsession  for “anything” Superman…movies, novels, TV shows.  So I came up with this idea to have DeNeal sew a Superman cape and have a themed portrait session. I discussed it with Dan and he really liked the idea (what a surprise!) Dan is all about his kids, and now he has a Son to play with too.

Here are a few from the session. The first image won third place in a portrait competition recently.

Even Mom got in the action!

Kristen and Lee had the ceremony in St Pete, then the reception at the Trade Winds Resort. Grande Occasions handled the event details. We had to work around one of the usual afternoon storms, But I knew it wouldn’t last long. We still managed to get some shots in at the beach.

Kristens dress was beautiful, and she also had a second dress for the reception that allowed her more freedom for the party. The ceremony started a little late, and I was able to sneak a shot of Lee TRYING to be patient for it to start. I also got to use my new infra red camera for a few photos in the rose garden. The flower girl was adorable and did a great job. I was able to get some nice effects compensating for the videographers light during the dances.  The dessert/cookie table caught my eye…not that I would notice that kind of thing… ;-)

Congrats Kristen and Lee!
