I personally love to photograph engaged couples. They are so excited about the wedding and each other. My job is to make them look good and have a lot of fun in the process. I know most photographers just do a cookie cutter approach, to get it done quickly. But I like to taylor each session to the couple, then add a bit of my own personality and style. Which often includes shooting after the sun goes down.
Some of the favorite places people like to go are Clear water beach or Sand Key Park, Forte DeSoto Park. I also know of a few “secret” beaches. Either downtown St Pete or downtown Tampa offer wonderful backdrops as well. But what is more important than just a backdrop is to have someone capture you as you are. I get that compliment a lot, and nothing makes me feel better as a wedding photographer than to hear their friends say “those photos are so you guys!” Here are just a few recent photos.

In New Tampa you can find “The Tampa Palms Country Club”. A lovely location for your wedding. The out door area is covered to protect from the rains or direct sun. The catering is outstanding and They take good care of you. I love that the Bridal suite is very large, and lots of window light. And I live for window light…and chocolates, but mainly window light. With scenic areas right on the grounds, you have everything you need for a beautiful wedding. Here are some recent photos.

Being a Tampa wedding photographer does not mean we just photograph weddings in Tampa. In fact, we are on the preferred lists of many beautiful hotels in the Bay area. The Hyatts , in Clearwater beach and the Grand Hyatt on the causeway are just 2 of them. They have used our images for some of their promotions. The Hyatts are top notch and they know how to spoil you. At the Grand Hyatt they have an outdoor gazebo on the Bay that is perfect for photographs! I like to find places that are not the “usual” spots. And be creative. Here are a few from Natalie and Brian’s wedding.
