I had so much fun photographing Chiara and Jason’s engagement session, so I knew the wedding would be even better. Well then the storm came crashing in and moved the ceremony inside the Belleair Community Center. But the storm cleared in time for us to get some wonderful images on the water! The bridal party was enjoying themselves. Some of the girls came from Austrailia, they were childhood friends of Chiara’s. The toasts were very touching and gave a wonderful warm family feeling. Congrats to Chiara and Jason! looking forward to designing your story book.

Crystal and Nantha’s second day was at the beautiful Hyatt Clearwater Beach Resort. Ashley was in charge of keeping everything on schedual and looking good. Grant Hemnond DJ’s were there (Rob). The florist was Rosegarden (Heather). Everything went well and looked beautiful. We managed to sneak out at sunset for a few awesome shots. But one of the highlights was Nantha’s Mom starting the Mother/Son dance traditionally, then had Rob switch everything into high gear for non stop dancing and fun. Didn’t see that one coming.
Congrats Crystal and Nantha! I cant wait to design your 2 story books.

Leighann and Chris were just married at the Trade Winds Resort. An amazing venue for a wedding. Lots of things for your guests to do. If you have a destination wedding, or are local, your family and friends would love to “get away” for a while. The event planner was Jennifer at the Trade Winds, Barb from Artistry designs group did the decor and flowers. George from JAM entertainment was the DJ. Make up by Karen at Beautiful you make up and hair. Their celebration was wonderful. It was a bit windy at the beach. But that makes for moving beach wedding photos. There was a touching tribute to Leighann’s father, who had passed away. We are sure he would have approved of the beautiful wedding.
Enjoy the photos and congrats to Leighann and Chris!. Who happened to email us “OMG Mitchell, that slide show is amazing. We can’t thank you enough!

The Sand Pearl Resort is truly a place of luxury for any wedding. Right on Clearwater Beach, it has everything to impress your family and guests. They have one of our award winning (and merrited ) story books on display. Let us know if you would like to see one of our slide shows from this amazing venue.

wedding photographerst Pete beach weddingsSunday’s wedding at the Don CeSar beach resort was looking scary. Big storms had formed and were moving toward the beach. Jany had this dream of a beach wedding for her and Rafael. The staff began to ask her if they should move the beach wedding inside. She was very sad at that thought. I looked on my phone to check the live radar (things have really changed over the years) and could see that while the storms were building, they were stalling out and not going to make it to the beach. I showed her the screen and she decided to give it a try. Well, the winds cooled it down and the sky’s were very dramatic.
Here are a couple sneak peeks. Life as a beach wedding photographer during the summer is always interesting.
Congrats Jany and Rafael!

Ashley and Manny are from Orlando, but they wanted their wedding at Clear water beach. We photograph many destination weddings, both here and all over Florida. Their wedding date happened to be on DeNeal and my anniversary. So after we were finished photographing the beach wedding, we went out for our anniversary dinner. We decided to stay at a hotel on the beach, just to get away for a bit. When I came into the beach house Ashley was getting ready at, I saw Renee Michele. She does a great job w/ make up. She had colored her hair, so I didnt recognise her right away. Sorry :)
Then the reception went to the Star Lite Princess cruise ship in Clear water. If you like being on the water and sharing great food w/ your friends, that is the place to be.
Here’s the slideshow from Ashley and Manny’s wedding.
Congrats you two!

The Hyatt on Clearwater beach just started hosting weddings about a year ago. What a beautiful location! We are honored to be one of their very limited preferred vendors. Wedding photography is very popular up and down the beaches and for a good reason, the sunsets are the best. We are looking forward to photographing there on a regular basis. If you see their terrace area for an outdoor wedding, you will be hooked. Here are just a couple images.

The Sand pearl resort in Clear water beach is a nice venue for any event, but real nice for weddings!
Angel wings photography photographs weddings up and down the west coast of Florida at many of the hotels and resorts.
Just email us your location and we will send you a slide show from that venue. For Christina and Jeff’s wedding there were many special moments.
Here are just a few.

The Don Cesar in St Pete Beach hosts over 300 wedding a year. We manage to shoot there regularly. The staff is quite good, one wedding a line of storms decided to come through with little or no warning (this is Florida). It blew the chairs down and rained quite hard. They quickly set up an indoor room for the ceremony and all was well. Beach weddings can be touch and go in the summer time. But we still managed to get a lovely shot after wards.

This wedding would end up on the Star Lite Cruise Ship in Clearwater. But the ceremony was on Honey moon Island, on Memorial Day weekend. We saw these sticks sticking out on the sand and I knew I had to use them. The beach was so packed I ended up sitting on a blanket w/ a family eating their lunch, enjoying watching us. DeNeal held the flash and I shot into the sun. First we hung up Erick’s shoes and positioned Beyrel’s flowers to mimic the branches. Then I asked the vacationers if they minded me sitting w/ them to get the shot. I think the mom took a photo of us doing this set up. Yes, I did have to remove lots of swimmers in photo shop. But it was worth it, as the image has a feel like they are the only ones on the beach. And that is exactly what I wanted it to look like.
