Coleman and Jessica came to St Pete beach for their beach wedding. Then a “trash the dress” shoot right afterwards. Photographing beach weddings is always fun. We work up and down the west coast of Florida shooting weddings on the beach all year long. Which fits us just fine.
Here are a couple of images. Congrats guys!

This is our busy season as wedding photographers. We photograph many beach weddings in St Pete. Including destination weddings on the beach. This is Bettina and David’s wedding. An intimate family wedding, I even stayed for the after wedding BBQ. I was able to work with Nan from Ceremoniesbynan for the first time. She is an awesome Officiant. I also had fun getting to know Bettina’s parents and the rest of the families. Congratulations to Bettina and David.
Now, I travel up north to photograph a couple weddings then back home.

I had so much fun photographing Chiara and Jason’s engagement session, so I knew the wedding would be even better. Well then the storm came crashing in and moved the ceremony inside the Belleair Community Center. But the storm cleared in time for us to get some wonderful images on the water! The bridal party was enjoying themselves. Some of the girls came from Austrailia, they were childhood friends of Chiara’s. The toasts were very touching and gave a wonderful warm family feeling. Congrats to Chiara and Jason! looking forward to designing your story book.

Mandy and Greg were just married at the Feather sound country club. They had their ceremony on the lawn, it was beautiful. The celebration was very lively w/ the band playing everyones favorite songs. Heather from Rose gardens flowers had some very colorful flowers. It was great to work w/ my friend George from .There was a strong sense of family through out the evening, nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. Even Mandy sang with the band for a while. I’m sure veryone was exausted by the time they got back home. I know I was. Finally the Rolls Royce came to take them away. Congrats to Mandy and Greg, thank you for allowing DeNeal and Me to share your wedding day.

Crystal and Nantha’s second day was at the beautiful Hyatt Clearwater Beach Resort. Ashley was in charge of keeping everything on schedual and looking good. Grant Hemnond DJ’s were there (Rob). The florist was Rosegarden (Heather). Everything went well and looked beautiful. We managed to sneak out at sunset for a few awesome shots. But one of the highlights was Nantha’s Mom starting the Mother/Son dance traditionally, then had Rob switch everything into high gear for non stop dancing and fun. Didn’t see that one coming.
Congrats Crystal and Nantha! I cant wait to design your 2 story books.

Crystal and Nantha were having a 2 day wedding celebration a couple of weeks ago. The first day was the Hindu wedding ceremony at the Hindu Temple in Tampa. It was a very early start as their time was 7:30 in the morning. It was still dark at that time, but everyone seemed awake. I saw plenty of coffee cups everywhere. What a wonderful couple! We had their engagement session in down town St Pete and at the Pier. The ceremony was quite interesting, full of cymbolisms. I covered it as a photojournalist would, looking for key moments, trying not to be noticed. Super colorful and fun. The next day was the Christian ceremony at the Hyatt in Clear water beach. Congrats Crystal and Nantha!

Leighann and Chris were just married at the Trade Winds Resort. An amazing venue for a wedding. Lots of things for your guests to do. If you have a destination wedding, or are local, your family and friends would love to “get away” for a while. The event planner was Jennifer at the Trade Winds, Barb from Artistry designs group did the decor and flowers. George from JAM entertainment was the DJ. Make up by Karen at Beautiful you make up and hair. Their celebration was wonderful. It was a bit windy at the beach. But that makes for moving beach wedding photos. There was a touching tribute to Leighann’s father, who had passed away. We are sure he would have approved of the beautiful wedding.
Enjoy the photos and congrats to Leighann and Chris!. Who happened to email us “OMG Mitchell, that slide show is amazing. We can’t thank you enough!

Sakeena and Kevin were married a couple of weeks ago at the Ala Carte Pavillion in Tampa. The ceremony was held in their beautiful hall. With super tall pillars and tile floors. They should be coming back from their honeymoon any day now. DeNeal and I enjoyed photographing their wedding day, the details were perfect! Kevin even noticed that I left some of my radio controls for our flashes in the reception room. He got a big “thank you” from me. I tend to leave things behind, I once left an equipment bag in the hotel parking lot in NYC for a wedding we shot there. Believe it or not, it didn’t get taken.
I’m working on their custom slide show, as we do for each wedding and engagement session. It’s looking pretty good.
Congrats to Sakeena and Kevin!

We have been wedding and portrait photographers in Tampa since 2005. A week ago I received an email from a couple we photographed their wedding at the Fish Hawk Ranch in 06. A very nice place for a wedding. Well, out of the blue this email comes in…”Dear Mitchell and DeNeal, it has been 6 years since you photographed our wedding day. We just wanted to thank you and let you know how blessed we were to have you as our photographers! Friends always ask who our photographers were when they look at our story book. Your skill and your work really impresses them. Thank you for giving us such timeless photographs!”
Lena and Mike.
That just made our day.

After you have photographed hundreds of weddings, you begin to work at some places regularly. The Tampa water side Marriott is a wonderful location for your wedding. And as a photographer, I am only limited by the time we are given to create beautiful images. There are so many places, inside and out that I love. Even a few secret places, only the photographers with a keen eye would see. If you are having guests come from out of town, they will love the Marriott. While you are there, check out one of our award winning storybooks in the office.
